Valdarious Posted April 12, 2002 Posted April 12, 2002 Actualy someone has hinted at the ability to do these in MP from the animsounds.cfg inside the pk3 files. There are cartwheels and the lil flip kicks that Darth Maul did that everyone was they could do but couldnt. I am wondering if anyone is indeed able to pull these off but I wont believe it 100% till either I see it or I do it. The moves are built into the model.glm files, if you download the modview from http://www.raven-soft.com and click on sof2 then go to the skining contest you can download the program.
MessiahErebus Posted April 12, 2002 Posted April 12, 2002 i know what cartwheels you are talking about, and you can do something similar with medium saber strength, sometimes (don't know why i can't do it on demand) you jump forward slightly and attack and it will throw you up so you look like doing a cartwheel, but it isn't the same thing...bout as close as you will get i think though.
Kreidian Posted April 12, 2002 Posted April 12, 2002 I don't know if this is presicely the cartwheel move you want but it's really close and it looks great. You have to set your lightsabre style to fast/light. Then you run towards your opponent and just when you get really close to him hit jump and attack at the same time. You will flip over your opponent's head while twisting in midair and attack at the same time. You see the Reborns doing it all the time in the SP game. It's an extremely useful skill that you can use in both in SP and MP games. You could also try this: while you're running press one of the strafe buttons and the crouch button at the same time. If you do it right then you will roll to one side while still going forward. It's a basic roll but it probably looks like a cartwheel from a distance. ... hope this helps. Kreidian
