bantha274
Is there a way to switch(ALT+TAB) between the server console and the game(while playing) so i can make modifications to the server? As my setup is now, I can't ALT+TAB to the server console. Every time I want to mod the server(change maps, kick players) I have to exit the game , change the server, and re-enter the game. Any help/suggestions would be appreciated!
MatrixCPA
You can run the game in a window. That's what I do. Just hit alt-enter to toggle between the two mode. Just remember that it does take a bit for the game to complete the vid mode change. Once you've switched to window-mode, you can alt-tab to your heart's content. Of course, if you don't have any other apps running and you need to get "out" of the window, hit cntl-esc or the "windows" key on your keyboard--either will open the start menu and get you to the desktop. IPsoldat
..... OR.....get a video card that support dual monitors....all you need is a little 15" cheap monitor for the console to run it then when you need it just drag your mouse to the second monitor screen and then your mouse and keyboard will be active for that screen and not your game screen ( note: Win2k or XP is required for this ) But me my server runs on a Linux machine so I just rcon..... but my first idea sounds hella cool... MatrixCPA
Because of the bug in /rcon status, sometimes you NEED to get to the console to actually get rid of someone.
