Running Server

I am a CS player that just got JK2 and loved it so i decided to set up a server. I need some help. how do i get into the console while im playing on another machine to get rcon? Also is there a list of commands for running the server? I would appreciate the help. Also i have weapons disabled and for some reason they dont get disabled. Reply or ICQ 107975657 please

Well I assume you are running a dedicated server.

and about getting the console down its "shift+~"

then just rcon like you normally would with Quake 3

When you say you have weapons disabled, does that mean you have something like this in your server.cfg:

 

seta g_weaponDisable 1

 

-or-

 

seta g_weaponDisable 65531

 

 

The later (65531) would be want you want if the intent is to have a saber only server. Additionally, if you run an ffa or holocron server, include:

 

seta g_duelWeaponDisable 65531

 

That way only sabers are allowed in private duels. Personally, I think that should be set either way...but that's just my opinion.

i have it set on g_weapondisable 1 and that didnt seem to work so i will try the other setting...thanks
