Hux
Why i dont see any cut off legs, arms etc? And why are 3 saber styles? Well its ok that there are 3 but why the heck do they dont make the same level of damage? I mean this is a light saber and no matter how hard you hit the damage should always be the same. Just look how it cuts into walls!
Pol Favre
in the console (drop with shift+~), enable cheats and type g_saberrealisticcombat 1 (set it higher for more realistic contact. 1 sets it so that the last hit in a kill dismembers whatever it touches or something), and set g_dismemberment to 10 (i use 9 and 27 though both are the same, just numbers i like). this should fix your problem. you're an aussie or something, right? cos here the game is just Teen, which is like 13+, but i saw that the aussie rating was M15+ or something. now for your second question, i have no idea! i don't get why a 'heavier' swing would cause so much more damage. a lightsabre is a lightsabre, and both are blades that can cut through anathin. (aussuming hux is not a complete idiot) no, he said "your an aussie, right?" because he knew that in auss, the rating was Mature, and the guy asked why it was mature thus, he assumed he had purchased an australian copy, and then drew the conclusion that he was an aussie im 99.99% sure the gentlemans english skills did not factor into the assumption EDIT, and if you were saying that he want from auss because of his english skillz, i would disagree and say that that problem is just lazy typing, kind of like how i never capitalize

I mean this is a light saber and no matter how hard you hit the damage should always be the same. Just look how it cuts into walls! Very good point and I did wonder this myself. Perhaps the different stances should just give you an advantage when it comes to breaking blocks. Otherwise just have fancy names and different moves for each stance. A lightsabre is a lightsabre. Does anyone know if you can set realistic sabre damage in multiplayer? I'd like to play where one hit can kill.

thrEEpaGe
i dnot think that he was commenting on his english skills at all...he only referenced the fact that the post was wondering why the game was not more mature...and pol had saw that australia's jo had gotten a mature rating...so he guessed that he was an australian...i dont see a huge international incident here... Pvt_Dancer
A lightsabre may be able to cut into anything but it still requires force to do so (the marks on the walls are just pretty). In Empire Luke hit Darth in the shoulder while they were dueling over the air shaft and it didn't slice vader in two. Why? Because it was a quick glancing hit. Luke didn't swing with enough force to slice into Darth's shoulder. However, in the same battle, Darth slices into the railings, breaking right through them and then cuts Luke's hand off. He was swinging like the juggernaut that he is. I mean, if they just automatically cut through anything, Qui Gon and Obi could have cut their way through that door in the beginning of Ep1 MUCH faster! Get it? Thus, the heavy stance allows for slower more powerful swings and the light for quicker but glancing blows.
TheDarkSide
A lightsabre may be able to cut into anything but it still requires force to do so (the marks on the walls are just pretty). Exactly....to all those who still STRUGGLE with this concept. Here's an analogy...think of the saber as a chainsaw. A real life chainsaw not a Doom weapon. If you swing a chainsaw at something fast, like say a tree, that saw is going to make a small nick in there and then bounce off. To cut through that tree, you need to go slow and steady. The same concept is at work here with the lightsaber. A quick, fast swing will do a little damage, a slow and calculating one will do much more. Pol Favre
darth vader's shoulders were armoured, and i think i might've read it was even more resistant to lightsabres, im not sure though. as for the whole language thing, except for two grammatical errors there were no problems with his english. i saw he said mature rating, that is all.
