Anyone take a sec to explain to me how to post a poll?

I'm a dumbass, yes I know, I would just like someone to explain how to post a poll, I see the option at the bottom, but when I click it and preview it, there is no poll, and I can't get to the options, lol, any help?

Put whatever you want to in the text entry box, then look at the options at the bottom. One of them is, "Post a poll". Check it's box then hit the Submit Thread button. It will then bring you to a page were you can specify what the poll is and what it's choices are.
