toolboi
I have noticed some rather disturbing things about the blue stance in this game. I initially used it exclusivley because it looked cool, but have begun to realize that it is the worst stance in the game. People often tell me that its "good if you dont go wild" and this is the flaw that I see: Any good sword fighter, or fighter of any kind, will tell you that a few well placed and guided blows are much better than mindless slashing. This applies doubly so in JK because of things such as GUNS and saber throws. However, a "few good slashes" are considerably SLOWER in blue than in yellow stance, for example try to do a single slash in each, the yellow one is faster and wider. It also deals considerably more dammage. What blue has going for it is the abillity to infinitly link moves, but thats not much good because mindless slashing leaves you WAY open. Now what is the answer to this? Change yellow? NO, yellow is surprisingly well balenced, instead I sugest the following: When cheating for level five saber stance you get a blue stance that is CONSIDERABLY faster than normal blue stance. Its so fast that it would give whoever uses it a great advantage over those who use other stances. However, if you were simply to mix a couple of moves from it, say the slashes, and maybe SLIGHTLY speed up the blue spin speed you would have a great saber style. By simply mixing the two blues you could combine them into a style that is sutable for more than Padawan players who spin wreaklessly. Comments, critisisms? Do I just suck? Soul-Burn
True that... But fact is, that acting like headless chickens, infinitly slashing should get you killed.... There should be some advantage for using Blue style... maybe a longer range? faster blows? Anyways, it should be something that needs skill to use.. like the 2 other stances... I never use the light stance anymore, cuz it does a little damage that doesn't balanced by getting less damage.... if you slash, your open and will die. So why take a stance that wants you to slash more??? Maybe you should make it have fast combos... since it's light, you can do cool combos... left attack, right attack, uppercut, slash... dead enemy after a skillful combo. MrCrusher
Blue stance would be a lot more useful if it could block all red-stance attacks when you spec to level three in defense. What is the use in specing to three defense anyway, you still have to be constantly running from red-stance attacks. There really is no point in trying to block anything. I would make specing in defense and blue more useful by combining the two to make high-defense-blue-stance. Better blocking would allow for better control during a duel when there is any lag. And adding Level three defense to blue-stance would also make up for its lack of range.
