I run my own server using FFA and CTF maps, when the server has been voted to change duel maps then my problem occurs. When it is in duel the 2 players fighting stay on for ever, there is no changing of players after someone is killed, winner and loser stay on. MatrixCPA Posted April 11, 2002 Share Posted April 11, 2002 Do you already have settings for: fraglimit duel_fraglimit If not, then that would be the problem. The fraglimit is typically set to 1 automatically if you run a duel only server. In a duel, the fraglimit determines how many kills it takes (by one player) before a new opponent is rotated in. The duel_fraglimit determines when the map is rotated (if the timelimit isn't hit first). Each successful "win" by reaching the fraglimit counts as 1 toward the duel_fraglimit. If a single player wins enough to reach the duel_fraglimit, the next map is called. Now, a problem may be that if you run FFA and have the fraglimit set to some high number....that number may be carrying over to the duel--which would be a problem. I've purposefully avoided enabling voting just for this reason. At least if you have a strict rotation going, you can switch modes and settings together. Once I get the admin bot completed, I plan to add a "voting" capability that can be controlled. In the end, someone will probably code a mod to do it.
