Question about the downloadable skins.

If I use it, does everybody else see me in my new skin?

 

Or is it just that it replaces an old one on my computer, so that the others see the default skin?

If you put your skin instead of one of the pre-made ones, only you will see it.... if it has a different name, they might see it, depending if they activated downloading.
