bantha274
Ok...This is weird. My server was running fine. Friends could find and play in. I downloaded a skin for my game. Later, friends couldn't find server in list. I uninstalled game and re-installed. Now when I create a dedicated server, the server name shows up ONLY in the LOCAL server list (not in INTERNET as it did before uninstall). Also the server name has three letters after the name. It appears like this: "server name"[uDP] The [uDP] is what i'm curious about. It never showed up before and I don't know what it means. Anyone ever seen this? And why would my server only show as LOCAL? What does [uDP] mean? Any help is appreciated.
MatrixCPA
UDP = User Datagram Protocol Basically, it's a protocol used over the internet. In this case, JK2 uses the UDP protocol to communicate betwen the clients and the game server. Are you running the server dedicated? Which OS? What does your command line/batch file look like? Are you behind a firewall? Have you tried seeing if your friends can connect to your server via ip?
