IGL|Palyntir Posted April 12, 2002 Posted April 12, 2002 I'd heard this setting allows for dismemberment in the single player. Anyone try it in a ded server yet? IF so, what were the exact settings you usd to get it to work? IS it a cheat? questions abound.
MatrixCPA Posted April 13, 2002 Posted April 13, 2002 The setting for dismemberment is: seta g_dismember "1" However, that is broken and can cause server crashes (opStack). I saw the news post about the g_saberRealisticCombat and I'm pretty sure it was a joke. That cvar doesn't show up on any list I've seen and the description of what it did just sounded silly.

You can set all the g_dismember junk you want, but you type in the above (with cheats enabled, and I was told it's case sensitive), and you're going to see a drekload more than a mere g_dismember 1 setting. I've been slicing people in half, lopping off arms, legs, hands, heads.. and on rare occasions, all of the above from one foe. (saber throwing at it's finest)
