How to change your name into colour?

You all know what I'm talking about.

 

How do you change your name into a colour name.

 

Say I wanted my name to appear in blue. How would I do it?

 

Could someone give me an example?

 

Any help would greatly be appreciated.

You use carat, ^, and then a number, that will then disappear and the text you type thereafter will be as that color, 1-red 2-green 3- yellow 4- blue 5- aqua 6-purple/pink (depending on your monitor =P) 7- white Least I think that's what it is if I remember right, hehe.

 

So if you wanted Rasta in red, you would do ^1Rasta

 

To get more funky you can also do primary and background colors Lets say you wanted to do [Randomclan]Rasta in primary and secondary colors with different colors for the tags you'd do:

 

Primary, secondary, primary then the text.

 

^1^3^1[Randomclan]^4^3^4Rasta

 

That would result in red on yellow for the clan tags, and blue on yellow for your name.

when you said how to make the background color, i tried that... all it produced was Randomclan in red, and rasta in blue. out of all of the resources ive found for making a background color, none have been accurate. i talked to someone on a server that had it done and he said that it was an old .DE trick, but he disco'ed too soon for me to learn Could anyone please enlighten me?
