They could have twice as many midichlorians in their body as any other species, but their still too primative, "don't have the mental capacity" to be a Jedi.

Oh god... make the midichlorians go away...

 

I can handle just about all the mistakes that George has made over the years, but adding those into the story was THE worst thing he has ever done. It turned the Force from something mystical into something scientific, and ripped away the mystery and wonder of it by doing so.

 

Instead of "His midichlorian count is freakishly high, even higher than Yoda's", it should have been something like "I can sense the power in him, he may even be more powerful than Yoda".

 

BLEH.

 

 

 

As to the Ewok Sith thing, I could photoshop something that makes Wicket look like Maul, or add the words "Yub yub!" to a picture of Maul, but I'm tired.

they may not have the mental power but the 5 year old Jacen and Jaina Solo have managed to use the force - as shown in The Jedi Academy Trilogy
