Admin Commands?

Where can I find information about how to execute admin commands from the console?? I have experience hosting and being an admin for CStrike. But executing commands from the console is quite different. Among all th commands I would like commands such as the change map, kick & bann.

 

Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

Do you mean from the server console itself or remotely via rcon? I'm assuming that you mean from the server console itself. If so then here's what you were looking for:

 

To kick a player:

 

kick playername

-or-

clientkick clientnumber

 

You can look up the client number by using the status command. It's the number on the far left.

 

To change the map:

 

map mapname

 

To ban players:

 

There's a really nice description of that here.

 

If you are curious you can always type cmdlist in the console to get a list of possible commands. If you have any questions, just ask.
