Ban by name instead of IP??

Can you ban by name with a wildcard or something instead of IP?

 

ban "joemama*"

 

What is the format for banning by IP? can someone post an example?

The server itself cannot ban by name, only ip. To see a nice description of how to use the ban features, look here.

thanks, that site (gameadmins) rocks!! I've never come across it before. I've admin'd UT sites but usually used theadmin page on planet unreal.

 

Boy that name feature would be nice, although it would be easy for them to get around by changing name. ALot of people are very particular with their names, a name ban would maybe deter them enough not to come in.
