Grip Not Working

OK, I am playing as Luke on the Dark side with Grip set to 3 in Multiplayer mode. I have assigned the mouse scroll to up for grip.

When I push the scroller up when pointed at another player, nothing happens.

 

Why isn't grip working?

I've also tryed the default key setting for grip, no help.

 

Am I doing something wrong?

Please help...

You have to hold the grip key "down" for it to continue to grip ppl. And you really cant hold the scroll wheel down. Set it to q or e.

Assuming that you are aiming at them...

it should be working.

No clue wth is wrong, aim is my only inkling.

The person is like a foot away from me.

 

And, I aimed directly at them.

Should I am for their neck, lol?

I've noticed my grip doesnt work unless my force is full. If its at 50% or so, it almost never kicks in

For Grip to work, you need 3 things to happen:

 

1. You must have over 50% of your force, maybe even over 60%.

2. You must be standing close to the target (within striking distance) and looking directly at them

3. You must hold down the grip button.

 

Most people forget about the first rule, which is a really bizarre one to begin with, but if you follow those steps you should get a grip in every time.
