TheBru Posted April 17, 2002 Posted April 17, 2002 I'm running a couple dedicated servers on Win2K machines from work and usually I'm not able to monitor them (unless I connect to them from home). I noticed that one of the servers had switched to from TFFA to Duel a few times, which I assume was from a player vote. My question is, can the allowVote variable bet set so it allows players to only vote on map changes, and then only allow votes for maps of that gametype. I connected to my TFFA last night that had been switched to Duel and everyone was complaining because they weren't getting a turn, which was of course because the fraglimit was still set for TFFA settings (20 I believe), so changing from a FFA map to a Duel map kind of screws everyone except the two dueling. Any ideas? Bru
MatrixCPA Posted April 17, 2002 Posted April 17, 2002 Sure, disable voting. It solves more problems than it creates (imho). Sadly, until a mod comes along you can't set which things can be voted on...it's all or nothing.
