H-street Posted April 18, 2002 Posted April 18, 2002 correct me if i'm wrong.. it is my understanding that JO ( Q3) will look in the base path for directories ( matching the pk3 files) as well.. do new skins and such necissarily need to be paked to work?
UniKorn Posted April 18, 2002 Posted April 18, 2002 No, but they will only work on a pure server if they are packed. Otherwise the pure server will not find them. So if you ever want to see your stuff on a public server : pak it.
