Can't get Logitech mouse wheel to function

Sorry if this has been posted elsewhere already, but i'm having a helluva time getting the middle button and the mouse wheel to work properly on my Logitech Cordless Wheel Mouse USB.

 

I have the latest MouseWare drivers installed and have the middle button assigned to the wheel in "Mouse Properties"... furthermore the scroll wheel is set to "6 Lines" and has always worked in a Windows setting (IE, Office etc.).

 

Has anyone else had this problem with JK II?? In the control setup when i try to assign the middle mouse button it instead assigns "CTRL" --- wtf? --- and when i roll the wheel up 'n down NOTHING HAPPENS!?!?!

 

I've been pulling my hair out here... if anyone can offer some advice i'd appreciate it.

Yea I had the same problem

it happenes in most games

 

If you Close the imouse program (or un install it) it will work but the little side button won't (if you have one)

 

The side button didn't work well anways I had it set as CTRL and whenever I used it the graphics went nuts.

It can be fixed, but you need to edit your registry. Open regedit and navigate to:

 

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Logitech\MouseWare\CurrentVersion\Technical

 

Make sure the following keys are set to these values:

 

"MouseHookDllEnable"="0"

"WheelMsgToVmouse"="1"

 

Reboot your system and that should do the trick for all your games.
