Prezident
I am running a small Duel server, and also trying to get the Menace of the Sith mod to work. I have put the pk3 files in the /base directory, and allowed clients to download files, but I don't see any difference in game play, or anything that were described in the detail of the mod. The mod I am talking about can be found here: http://www.jediknightii.net/files/index.php?link=file&id=73 I am wondering if there is something I need to add to the startup command line of my dedicated server, or to the cfg file to make this mod work. Also, I am still running the server in "Pure" mode, so I am not sure if that would prevent it from working either. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Prezident
Alrighty then. I guess the fact that I wasn't allowing my client to download was making it so I didn't see the changes. I wonder how many people will have that feature turned off.
MatrixCPA
You might want to mention the mod in the server name so that people know to get a hold of it before they join.
Novus
I don't know what it's defaulted to, but I turn it off. You might want to run an unpure server so ppl can play on your server w/o the "mod". You might also want to put the URL for the file in you MOTD.
Mastiphal
sets cl_allowdownload 1 in your server.cfg will send that setting to all connecting clients
MatrixCPA
The "s" at the end of sets means "serverinfo". That setting will not be "forced" on connecting clients. It will simply be visible when you get the server info via a query or a browser.
