Big Skinning Problem PLEASE HELP ME!

Right, I thought I'd have a go at skinning, anyway I've made all my changes followed CHANG KHAN's guide exactly and when I go into the game, in the system menu I can see the skin icon but when I load the game, the skin icon is not there for me to select and it just opens mon mothma (The skin I am modding) I've changed file names etc.. and there shouldn't be any conflicts. I've folloed Chang's guide and still I have this problem, please help as I need to test it out

Just a quick though as I had a similiar problem when I started out.

 

Change the .skin file to model_default.skin as opposed to adding your skins name into it. And make absolutely sure you moved model.glm into your directory as well.

When you create a game you have to make sure that "Pure Server" is off.

 

Yep that's it.

(P.S. "Pure Server" option is in the Advanced Settings when you are creating a game)
