ShadowHunter Posted April 21, 2002 Posted April 21, 2002 I am having problems with my server. I run a dedicated server using Win32 1.02c. I also connect to this server using the same computer. When ever I log onto the server my ping is around the 300 mark and causes lag for all the other players. When I used the 1.02a dedicated server my ping was around the 7 - 10 mark and usually no lag for other players. I need to know if there are any settings I can modify on my server or on my client side to minimize my ping on 1.02c. I am getting slightly desperate now, as today my 1.02a server shutdown 5 times automatically. Please HELP ME!!!

TheBru Posted April 23, 2002 Posted April 23, 2002 If you're using windows2K go into the task manager, then the Processes tab. Find your server exe and right click on it. You should get a pop up with an option to set priority, with a bunch of options, on of which should be "high".
