Shin_Jedi_ Posted April 21, 2002 Share Posted April 21, 2002 Ok... To sum it all up. I have all the files in the pk3 to be in models/players/skinhere but I can't select it! Not Appearing! INVISDABUL! The only way I can view my skin is if I type in /model skinhere.... Why Cant I select it? And no I am not trying to join a MP game that doesnt have my skin... CiD Posted April 21, 2002 Share Posted April 21, 2002 Do you have an icon_default.jpg in your 'skinhere' directory? It has to have the same _skinname as your .skin file, meaning if your .skin file is named model_default_skinname.skin then your icon must be icon_default_skinname.jpg. Master6 Posted April 22, 2002 Share Posted April 22, 2002 Try changing icon_default.jpg to icon_default_forest.jpg and model_default.skin to model_default_forest.skin then make sure all the lines in model_default_forest.skin point to the right directory. sights0d Posted April 22, 2002 Share Posted April 22, 2002 I had the same problem. I think the thing that fixed it was that I had changed the icon names. Make sure that the icons are named icon_default, and not forest_icon_default. If that doesn't help, send it to me (if it is under 3 megs) at sights0d@yahoo.com (I'm no expert.
