BlAcKTaLoN
I can't get this game to work, i've got.. pII - 450 mhz RAM - 348 mb VIDEO - TNT2 ULTRA 32mb O/S - WIN98 Everytime i try and load up the game it goes to the console for a second then the screen goes black, then it changes my screen size settings to 800x600 and gives me an illegal operation message, leaving me with the screwed up 800x600 settings. I have downloaded the latest drivers, i have tried uninstalling my drivers then downloading them again - no luck. I've re-installed the game - no luck. I've banged my head against my desk for a good couple minutes - no luck. Should i throw the cd out my window? or can i actually get this game going? can anyone help me out? Interesting, but annoying. For a hoot, try this, take all but one 128MB ram stick out and run the game on that, if it works, then chances are at least one of your RAM sticks is not getting along with the others, I know last thing you want to hear, but it would not be the first time. Also, set your desktop to 16bpp color or 32bpp whichever it is not currently on and try it. Other thing to check, in the BIOS if you have a video cache option, set it to NO or US [uncachable] and this can cause problems similar to what you wrote as well. BlAcKTaLoN
Still no luck, this is what it says in the illegal operation box details.. "JK2MP caused a stack fault in module OPENGL32.DLL at 0167:0afc4db1." then it gives a whole bunch of numbers and such. Should i try and replace that DLL file? Mertado
Are you using the 23.11 drivers? Try them first. Then try deleting the jk2mpconfig.cfg file from the base folder (don't worry, the game will write a new one). Doing that solved my weird OpenGL suddenly not working only in SP problem.
