How do you change the color of your skin to blue or red outside of Team games?

I see more and more people in FFA games having team skins, meaning blue or red. How do you it?

Go into Setup and just above the player icon pictures it should say "Team colour Default" , click on this and it will change to blue or red and then enter the server and you should have either colour when you play

Every time I leave the game it changes back to default

 

Is there any way to make this change appear every time the game starts? I use a server browser outside of JO so this is rather annoying.

erm , try changing whilst IN the game : Esc > player and try it that way. Apply the changes and quit and then go back in see if that helps

How do I apply the changes?

As I said, the minute I change to red or blue skin and leave the game, then rejoin, its back to default.

hey is there any way to change the colors for sp? I would personally like to play as a blue shadowtrooper.

You can do it the console as well. Open up the console then type

 

/model MODELNAME/blue or red

 

ex

/model desann/blue

will get you a blue desann

 

or

/model kyle/red

will get you a red kyle

you could bind it so it's a quick change once in the game

 

ex:

 

bind x model shadowtrooper/red
