mr_d100 Posted April 22, 2002 Share Posted April 22, 2002 Hi, Newbie here needs help. Going through single player at moment and am at the point where I get to fight dessan after finding him. This is the second encounter with Dessan, not the first where he takes Jan. Basically the double door goes to open, I get a millisecond of the movie then the screen goes black and replays a thumping sound at a great speed. I cant get to console for error messages and i have to restart my machine. Has anyone else experienced this? Can anyone help? Sturat Posted May 10, 2002 Share Posted May 10, 2002 If it's at all like the problem I had, JK is trying to load a sound, and failing miserably...although I think mine threw me out into the main screen. Try loading the game in safe mode and watching the movie, then saving. Then you'll have to re-do all your keyboard settings etc, but that shouldn't take too long.
