I think people should be free to do it for single player gaming but not multiplayer when the others dont know about it. I dont know if any hacks are out yet, but I have seen some pretty questionable stuff. AND LEAVE THE SERVER.. theres like 120321039123030 servers out there .. im sure theres BOUND to be one out there that you ping decently too, WITHOUT a cheater in it... If my complaining about cheating irritated you enough to waste your precious time to reply back then it seems that you 1) just wanna pick a fight 2) are a cheater yourself 3) didnt get the main purpose of my thread. If you'll read the first part of my thread again you'll notice that I just wanted information about possible cheating hax, and the second part requested that any who wants to disguss the morality of cheating say their part, and possibly let some hackers explain their side of the story. i dont like cheaters either but you dont see me starting threads for me to hear how much they suck No, I don't, but I see you replying to threads and whining about their whining. People who whine about cheaters probably also have no talent/skill. I haven't seen ANYTHING that would imply cheating has started. There are PLENTY of servers. For christ sake, I come to this forum hoping someone has an interesting multiplayer story or if someone found something new or a tactic they find works well. This forum is for discussion, not complaining. Nill, stop complaining. They just love to whine so you can't stop them either with your whining. It's a travesty that some people really have to ruin it for others because they suck. When I play multiplayer, I play Duel mode most of the time, many Duel servers have force powers disabled because it becomes too much of a distraction, and a lot of people like just going at it with sabers. I would say about 7 out of 10 Duel servers have a cheater; someone who is blatantly using force powers when the server has it disabled. It is because of this that I have not played MP JK2 in almost 2 weeks. I dont think I could have fun in a game unless the developers step up and create a patch that prevents this; you know it's not going to stop until it's dealt with. Nebel and anybody who thinks Nebels thread has value,believe or not you mention a cheat here or happen to find one or someone mentions one,chances are a good majority would go search that cheat to try it hell they may even like the advantage it gives them then eventually they will end up on a server you play on regular spoiling your game............then you come on with a second post screaming at Raven to get rid of cheats. if it doesnt click what im saying to you then you have no idea what threads like these do to people take note of Counter Strike and the Paranioa that has overtaken the game,if they fixed it so nobody could cheat full stop in cs people would still use the "hes cheating line". The other night, I was called a cheater because I pushed a punk over an edge as he tried to hit me with a one hit wonder - wtf? Not to mention everytime I use the homing function on the Rocket Launcher(See Also: Merr-Sonn Alternate Fire) I get "WTFZ!!!!11 j0oR r0ck3t f0ll0w3d m3h j0o f0ck1ng ch34tzor!!!!1111". I get the same attitude from King Stupid and his followers when I push a Rocket, or Repeater's Concussion Ball(See Also: Heavy Repeater Alternate Fire) back at the person. I mean FFS if you're going to accuse someone of cheating, get off your ass and make sure it's not a function of the Weapon and/or Force Power. And until cheating becomes crazy like it was/is with CS, I don't really think starting a thread like this is necessary. "I think cheaters might exist though, but I dunno, someone tell me about them so we can all hate them together." There are no cheaters in JK2 yet. The game hasn't even been out a month yet and you're already having your gaming experience ruined by conjuring up the images of boogiemen with autoaim and spiked models. I can't imagine the state you'll be in when a hack or two actually is released. I'll also mention: Kyle's arms is not a "hack" or a "cheat", it's a model that shipped with the game that any schmoe with any curiosity would be able to open up and see. It was also posted on the front page of Jk2.net. It's lame, but is not a cheat. Force powers on non force servers is also not a cheat. You ever notice when you join a master server when you were previously on a knight server or vice versa sometimes your force powers won't take and you have to either rejoin the server or screw around a bunch in spectator? This is the exact same bug, but it works in your favor in that circumstance. Most die hard NFers don't even realize it exists because they're not exposed to it by swapping amongst servers constantly like others do. I've had this bug happen to me at least 10 times, and seen it happen a good 20. Most of those times I asked the guy to rejoin the server or go spec or at very the worst I took a whole 60 seconds to change a server.
