If what you say about the clones is true,...

let me just say that you are a 100% genuine @SSH0LE

Why on earth would you say something like that without a spoiler warning? Maybe that info is common knowlege amongst those that must know everything about the movie before it is out. But I for one try to know as little as possible before a movie like this as to experience the events on the big screen and I am sure there are other people like that out there as well.

All I'm saying is, have some common-f**k'n-curtesy and title threads like this with ***SPOILER WARNING***

If what you said was NOT true,...then nevermind :)

Good day sir.

Ease up. It's an extremely minor thing. I don't know that much about the film but this is fairly common knowledge.

Obi Wan: YOUR clones are very impressive.

Jango: They'll do their job.

From the Clone War trailer

Think about this one very carefully guys,...just try,....

Did his post mearly state the fact that there were clones in the movie? Or did his post say who the clones were clones of? I thought so....

Of course I knew there were going to be clones in it.

Anyone with 1/10th of a brain can figure that much out.

What i DIDNT KNOW was WHO they were clones of,....does that make sense to you? It does? Great!

Thanks for adding the spoiler comments.

It may come as a shock to you , but knowing who the clones are clones of is NOT common knowlege.

Thanks for backing me up DL,...I thought I was seeing things for a second there....

Its all good :)

Im normally not very hostile,..but that really pissed me off,...because one of the things Ive been dying to find out is who the clone troopers are clones of,..

and finding it out through some random post about Time magazine in a VIDEO GAME forum without a spoiler warning sent me into a red rage. AND THEN he has the nerve to call me a moron,...

At any rate,...as you were :)

One of the earleist things I knew about Star Wars outside of the movies was that Boba Fett had something to do with the clones (the whole Mandalorian thing). To be honest, I thought it was common knowledge. I don't know very much about the Extended universe or anything. Just read a couple of the books.

:fett:

One of the coolest thing in the magazine is:

Re: Yoda:

And who would have thought our sedentary sage was such a deft martial artist, with lightsaber manouvers as quick as his speech is circuitous? A Ghandi turned Rambo, Yoda is the real action hero of the film

Looks like Yoda is going to get into the action. This should be intersting.

I'm not looking too hard into sneak peeks of the film. The first thing I discovered about Phantom Menace was that Darth Maul had a double-bladed lightsaber, and when I watched the way he activated the second part of the movie I knew it would have blown me away if I was unaware of it.

I've looked at a couple of the trailers, but that's about it.

well I don't consider it much of a spoiler, more interesting is why he would let himself be cloned? (money is an easy answear but not very likely I think)

And another question, are stormtroopers in ep IV-VI also clones or are they "inlisted" (not so much a part of ep II, but still I would like to know).

I'm sorry, but in one of the trailers Obi Wan does say to Jango Fett that his clones are very impressive...I can understand why Tie didn't think it required a spoiler warning. It's understandable that you were angry to have this fact spoiled but you really overreacted in your post, a lot of people don't realize how 'pure' others try to say, and you need to take a deep breath and realize that this does not make them jerks, just ignorant.

I think some people are assuming that Jango is running the cloning operation, I took 'your clones are very impressive' to mean that he had created the technology - not that he was Jango (he looks a bit weedy to be a kick-@@@ bounty hunter!)

Thoughts?

Jango is NOT running the operation.

In the story, a now dead Jedi Master (I can never remember names or planets, bear with me) ordered a planet to start creating huge clone armies for the Republic.

They used Jango Fett for the source of the DNA. The DNA was modified to make the clones more 'docile' than Jango obviously is, and were made to obey. They grow about 2x as fast as normal, and the cloners have 100000 troops made by the time Obi-Wan visits the planet (he is searching for Padmé's assassin if i remember my timeline correctly), and i think a million on the way. boba fett is one of their clones, only his dna was not modified in any way, and he is growing at 1x speed, a "natural clone"

btw, jango dies at the hand of mace windu, and NOT obi-wan =)

shmi dies, and anakin gets his hand cut off.

yoda kicks some ass too =)
