If I want to play JK2 with my friends online, the ping of the servers are above 200 ms; no server is lower than that. So I can't play correctly! For you as information: I live in Germany and have an ISDN connection. Sometimes I play CS and there i have pings of 50-70 ms, not compareable to those of JK2! CPU: AMD Thunderbird 900 MHz GPU: GeForce 2 Pro 64 MB How can i solve this problem ? please help me ...!!! - cYa - SKuLL24
Mertado Posted April 26, 2002 Posted April 26, 2002 Easy. Run your own server. CS has a gigantic following all over the world, so it's no surprise that you are close to several servers in Germany. JK2 has been out for less than a month, and the German version is disabled in certain graphics options so I'm not surprised that you can't find a local server. It has nothing to do with your hardware or, it looks like, your connection. You need to run your own server. I have read threads on this board about people playing on 56k dialup. They aren't complaining about performance. Yet.
