How do you make the lava texture look like actual lava in the game?

Quick n sweet:

 

Ingame it's just a texture. Also, I added a trigger_hurt with dmg 100 and it doesn't hurt (because it isn't actual lava I guess).

You need to use the shader imp_mine/java and not the imp_mine/java2 texture. It's not in the list (at least it isn't for me) but you can use imp_mine/java2 and use Find / Replace to replace it with imp_main/java
