UrScReWeD Posted April 29, 2002 Share Posted April 29, 2002 Ok, I installed everything via FTP and SSH, but um when i start the server through ssh it starts fine, but when i disconnect from the ssh client the jk2 server closes out along with it. MatrixCPA Posted April 29, 2002 Share Posted April 29, 2002 Run the server inside screen. Most distributions include screen. Just type screen at the prompt to start it up. Hit enter/space if you need to to get back to the prompt and they start the server with yoru command line. To detach from screen, hold down control and hid a then d. MatrixCPA Posted April 29, 2002 Share Posted April 29, 2002 Well, if you are using ./jk2ded to startup your server it sure sounds like the server is running linux (or BSD, etc).
