CAT-scan
I don't know if this fixes the problems for anyone else, but it sure as hell worked in my case.... It seems as the DetonatorXP 28.32 (I don't know if the older drivers has any kind of similiar problems) makes some new entries to your startup sequense....these little buggers is causing the trouble (for me anyway...) What you need to do: - Run msconfig (start, run, type "msconfig",press enter) - Go to the startup tab - look for these three entries: "NvCplDaemon", "nwiz", "LoadQM" - Uncheck them - Click OK and save the changes - Reboot I have no idea what these programs do, but I think all three of them are connected with the Nvidia drivers somehow. The deactivation of them has made no negative impact on my comp (yet), the only difference is that the freeze bug in JK2 is gone Please tell me if this works on your rig.... Mertado
I don't know what 'nwiz' or 'LoadQM' are, but NvCplDaemon is what gives you the extra tabs and access to the special functions of your nVidia video card control panel. Turning that off is probably not a good idea.
