tga files?

ok ive made a map, but it only runs on my comp.....well i included a .bsp, .arena, but no tga file. i only used textures that came with the game, so how do i get the .tga file to include in the map?

TGA files are TARGA images, you don't need to include any unless they are in your map.

well then why does my map only work on my comp? ive got the .arena file, and .bsp file that works fine.........am i missing a file? will it work without a levelshot?

If you're trying to run the level on another computer then try to pack it up into a .pk3 file.

ive already done that........i put the .arena file in a folder called "scripts" in the .pk3, and the .bsp in a folder called "maps" in the .pk3, it works fine on my comp, but on other peep's comps it wont load?

unzip another map file that is in .pk3......im pretty sure they dont use the folders only the files are inside.....not sure though....open a pk3 in a zip program.

they need the folders, otherwise they wont work, believe me, i had to tackle that prob before too!

btw i just checked 3 other maps for reassurance.....they are all broken up into folders just how i did it
