The_Mormegil Posted May 1, 2002 Posted May 1, 2002 In a screenshot I saw ages ago before the games release it showed a black reflective floor, I've looked all over the place and cant find any reflections anywhere. Is it just me or aren't there any in the game? It could be just my grahics card, I hoovered it's fan a few months ago and I've had error mesages in madonion and dxdiag ever since (games work pretty well though, wierd). So I just want to know where are the reflections,if there are any?
The_Mormegil Posted May 2, 2002 Author Posted May 2, 2002 Thanx mate where did u hear it? & can anyone here else confirm that?

The_Mormegil Posted May 2, 2002 Author Posted May 2, 2002 it means that when i went away at christmas I left the case of the computer off and the person i told to cover my computer when they replaced my kitchen didn't cover it properly. The graphics cards fan got a bit dusty, so i hoovered it. But now i get a couple of error messages; direct X diagnostic gives me an error when i go to test d3d and i can't run the madonion benchmark anymore. which is wierd because it runs this game and it runs MoHAA just fine. But they're not the reasons for this thread i just wanted to know about reflections.
NoodlyGod Posted May 2, 2002 Posted May 2, 2002 You used a vacuum on your video card? =O I'm guessing that didn't cause the problem only because I would think that if a hardware piece were missing it wouldn't work at all. I can't say that for sure but either way I'd reccomend an air can or your mouth over a vacuum. Have you tried re-installing direct X? http://www.microsoft.com/directx/ Or installing the latest video drivers? As to the reflections, I don't know why they took them out but I'm pretty sure they did. (I didn't see any either) Which makes me sad because the reflections in that e3 video and in the screens looked sweet. Oh well.
