[Dom_Pmd]
I've been getting the following error message during MP: Error: cl_ParsePacketEntities: end of message This only started popping up recently, right after I installed all the tools (JKRad etc.) It happens when I launch a server or join someone elses server. Usually crashes a minute or two from joining/hosting. Any ideas what could be causing this error? (Yes, something with entites but why and where?) Thanks. Monnnster
An error similar to this (not sure if it was the same) was received when you used an unpure client, such as one with a cracked .exe.
[Dom_Pmd]
... so I guess running a NOCD crack would cause this? Yes No? (Am I looking at a reinstall?)
[Dom_Pmd]
Here's another one. This one comes up when I run MY map: cl_ParseGamestate: bad command byte ... but when I rehost and try launching it a second time it goes through and plays fine. What gives? unicronTHC
So basically your question is how do you get your warezed copy of JK2 to work? Here's how you get that error to go away: http://www.bestbuy.com/Software/Detail.Asp?e=11101805&m=1023&Cat=1028 or you can try this: http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/categories/products/product.asp?pf_id=214819 Hope this helped. [Dom_Pmd]
UMMM!!! WRONG! I have the Special Edition version thank you very much! I recently used a NOCD patch because I was sick of switching CDs If you don't believe me you can even ask me a specific question; something from the game manual perhaps! btw, <---- comes with Special Edition, if you own it then you know what I'm talking about! The Truthful Liar
Yes, using the NOCD Crack does create this error while in Multiplayer. Basically the crack is not perfected and it will be a while untill a proper crack will be available. Yet no errors occur when playing SP to my knowledge. How do I know this? Well I'll be frank with you. My friend sent me Jk2 because I couldn't wait 3 days untill I bought Jk2. So when I cracked it I would get that error every... 5-10 min VERY ANNOYING. But! I got Jk2 a few days later! and I've been happy ever since! (P.S. I would not recommend for anyone to crack Jk2 or rip an unauthorized version/copy of Jk2 off the internet or a friend. Please do not follow my example because I am not the proper role model. Please just buy the game you will enjoy the game much more, Thank you.)
