Blueeyedwolf
Ok, i have had the usual probs that quite a few of ya peeps have, i.e. Crashes, slow performance etc. Now i didnt complain much before because at least i was able to play it. Now however it refuses to load up the next level, it crashes the game back to windows and when i open the game again it stops on the console and gives me an 'GLimp_Init() - Invalid GL Driver' error message. The game will start up fine again without that message if i restart my computer but the same will happen again if i try and progress with the sp game. can anyone help me please? Its such a fun game to play My specs are 20gig drive AMD Athlon processor 256 mem Voodoo 4/450 card (latest drivers) Win ME OS Thanx in advance
cogenmaster
I was kinda of having the same problem with Metal of Honor when I was still using my voodoo 5. When loading a new level the game just locked up, would have to cntl alt del to get out of it. I did not however get the error message you are getting when I restarted the game. Found a post on EA's forum saying to turn the sound hardware acceleration down a notch. Did that and never had a level loading issue again. Not sure if this will work in this instance but I suppose it is worth a try. Enjoy
Mertado
Try deleting your SP and MP config files (jk2mpconfig.cfg, jk2config.cfg). Something similar happened to me and doing this worked. Just run the game again and let it rebuild them for you. They tend to get corrupted rather easily I'm afraid.
Blueeyedwolf
Thanx for the help fellas, but none of it worked, however i did find a way arround it which might help other people with my prob. If your next level wont load and you get the same prob as me then type in "devmap map name" (where map name is the name of the next map) and hopefully it should load up fine
