Need some help figuring my server hardware needs out.

Ok, here is what I have access to. I can get VDSL (if you don't know what that is click Here ) What this means is I am gonna get a ****load of bandwidth for really cheap and be ultra low ping due to the fiberoptics and also the oc-48 at the isp provider. Now the thing I don't have is a lot of server hardware. I need to know how many jk2 servers I can run per server box. I am going to have only two server boxes, a 1.8Ghz pentium 4 with 512Mb of ram and a 900Mhz pentium 3 with about 512 megs of ram (to start out with). I am thinking about making them both linux so the resources will all be there.

Now I plan on having around 5 megabits (635K a second up and down) of connection for game servers and using another 3 to 5 for website, ftp, stats (using a 500Mhz box to run the stuff)

Also there is another variable in the equation. I want to run cs servers and SOF2 servers as well. Whats your opinion on this guys? What kind of server hardware am I gonna need?

forgot to say that I am getting my bandwidth for the total price of $25 a month per megabit... HAH that is the cheapest price I have ever heard of. Don't you wish you could get it that cheap???

The number of servers you can run per box is heavily affected by the player capacity for each server. Based on your system specs, I'd expect RAM to be your first bottleneck. After bandwidth, RAM is usually the thing you need the most of. The bulk of the processing power needed for games revolves around the graphics display--which a dedicated server doesn't require. The best thing you can do is get everything set up and see how far you can go. Just make sure you setup some monitoring so you can tell when and where you encounter bottlenecks.
