Angelou Posted May 5, 2002 Posted May 5, 2002 Im curently trying to run a public server.. the server is up and running, and i can conect to it whit ip / vhost but i cant get it on the "internet" list in jk2 what is it i got 2 do ?
MatrixCPA Posted May 5, 2002 Posted May 5, 2002 Sometimes you just have to wait, sometimes you can switch to a less used port and it works, and sometimes it's a firewall issue that's a real PITA to solve. Make sure you have ports 28060-28062 (inclusive) open and forwarded.

MatrixCPA Posted May 5, 2002 Posted May 5, 2002 I've heard some admins say it's taken a day or so to show up. If it's not listed after that, try changing ports and see what happens. Make sure you check in GameSpy or ASE as well. The in-game listing has some known limitations in the number of servers that will be displayed that the 3rd party browsers don't.
