Model Insertion problems

I'm trying to insert a model. A box shows up in radient (box is just a solid color). Nothing shows up in the game. What am I doing wrong? Do I need to do something in the entities window?

Importing misc_models in JK2Radiant:

 

Right-Click where you want model generally, in the 2D view

Select misc/misc_model

Go to the path on your HD where the model you want is

After you select a .md3 (model) you will likely get a path error

Press Enter to pass error message (if you get it)

Change (for example) the 'value' of 'model' to 'models\map_objects\kejim\generator_big.md3'

 

Change that path for other models you want to use.

This should show the 3D model also, vs. an entity box.
