How do I get logs with IPs

As there is definately a known issue with rcon status being broken in the Win32 version of the dedicated server, how do I set up my server config to log IPs so I can use them to ban as appropriate?

The logs created by JK2 don't log ips and I don't know of any way to change that without a mod. Once complete, my admin bot DOES log the ip's of people who join the server. Now, if I could just get the beta release finished.
