Alright I got a big problem

I had a probelm with my server I couldn't get the password to turn off.. I know sounds easy.. I tried every command and nothing work So I reinstalled. Now my sserver crashes everytime it starts up.. Please freaking help..These raven server are really sucking.. I give them a 1 on a 1 to 10 scale. I have never had this much problem with a server. And I have ran a couple Quake3 servers, HL server, and Unreal.

winxp pro

althon 900

256 SDRAM

on dedicated T3

Make sure you have uploaded the assets2.pk3 file from your patched client. As far as removing a password, if you mean to do it via rcon use /rcon set password none You have to use none because "" won't work as rcon strips out quotes. Setting it that way won't make a "permanent" change if you still have the pass set in your server.cfg, since it'll just put it back when it restarts. To remove it completely, you'll need to pull it out of the server.cfg and possibly the jk2mpconfig.cfg if it got archived there.

hmm i may give that a try next.. I do't know if i wanna even password it again. I had more trouble with.. I had 6 ppl give me 6 different ways to take password off anone worked.. So I dumped OS and put new one on win2k pro.

 

now I ot the jkded working.. I don't know if I darew want to put password on again..

 

I tell these raven server are sucky atleast for me.
