sights0d Posted May 8, 2002 Share Posted May 8, 2002 I'm getting REALLY annoyed. This is my third post on the same topic and I'm hoping that someone can help me with this problem... I can't insert models. I've done what the tutorials ask. When I insert one, they never show up in the game. In Radient, they won't show up except as boxes, even when I make sure to view them as skinned (in the view menu). The only item that I've gotten to come up properly is one of those wall mounted gun cabinets. I've tried looking at the Kejim level in Radient and their models look fine, so I don't think that it's my settings. Is there possibly a problem with where Radient is looking for the models? I put them in the models folder in the base directory. Then, to make sure, I put a copy of all of them in base/maps/models. That didn't help either. Where should they be? Not even the tutorials say. VEGETA2K1 Posted May 8, 2002 Share Posted May 8, 2002 this is more a mpaing quesytion then modeling... ask in the maping forum... but have you tried restarting radiant? also why does it really mater what it loks like in the editor? it will be normal in game..
