Ten Tigers
I think this would be tight. It is basicly what it sounds like. A giant bedroom. The theory behind this map is a common childhood fantasy. What if your toys came to life when you were away? Im seeing at least a bed, closet, dresser, and a toy box. Other ideas include the bed being a bunk bed with starwars bed sheets. An open platform shelf as opposed to a five sided bookshelf with an open front. Other miscallanious toys on the floor like a Tonka Truck, soccer ball, and maybe even a video game system with a TV. Perhaps a giant robot, and/or a large toy gun. The possibilities are almost endless... I cannot create levels, so you guys are my only hope. I really hope one of you guys thinks enough of this idea to embark on it. I think a toy level would be awesome. And it could give way to other "toy levels" too. Kinda like Army Men settings. Proxy
Actually, Quake 3 people have been enjoying levels like that for years. I forgot who was the mapper that made them, but since JK2 is the Quake 3 engine anyway, it should be pretty easy to convert. The mapper made huge bedrooms complete with computers, mouse traps and furnishings. The mapper also made kitchens and bathrooms. Ack! I fell into the toilet during an epic saber battle! Fade to black... -Proxy ----------------------- Map(s) I've made: Bespin Void 1.1 - http://www.jediknightii.net/files/index.php?link=download&id=234 -----------------------

PainGod
Actually, they've been around since before Quake 3. Counterstrike is loaded with "rats" maps where you are tiny people.

Unfortunately I lack even the most basic of map making skills and I would not even be able to do something this easy. So I am still at the mercy of others generosity... inlacrimas
Quake 3 is older than counterstrike.
volrathxp
RATS maps have been around for so long I won't be surprised if we do see one for JK2. They are fun maps to play in. We found a bathroom one for Red Faction (loads of fun). I think every fps type game out there that can be edited will have a rats level in some form. it's tradition if not pure fun. i hope someone does make one. volrath

FatboyTim
Originally posted by inlacrimas Quake 3 is older than counterstrike. Actually, the initial release date of Counter-Strike was June 19, 1999. Q3A was released almost 6 months later, on December 3, 1999 (just after CSb4.1). Just thought you might like to know.
