Manquesa
how much health are you giving it?
UniKorn
A trick is to put a brush in front of it that triggers the door. Put a small brush before it, like the ones raven used, that you needed to destroy with the saber. Give that brush a health value. Only when the brush is destroyed the player will get access to the trigger => door opens.

Manquesa
here's another option for ya. i'm thinking that apparently the door just need any health for it to be shot once and then open. What you can try is making a very thin brush (or any size really, as long as you don't mind looking at it) and put it in front of your door and then make it a func_button. Set the func_button to activate the door, then apply a health value to the button. You'll have to shoot the button to activate the door plus you can make the button move in the same direction as the door so it won't still be there once the door opens hence leaving an open doorway. Come to think of it, maybe you can just make the whole thing a func_button instead of a func_door, since it moves in the same manner as a door anyway, never tried it though. But I know that the health on a button will work in the way you're talking about, the higher health you give it, the more you'll have to shoot it before it activates the door, i've used this method before. Manquesa
i'll play around with it and see what I can come up with, i'll let you know.
Manquesa
Sorry, I couldn't get that to work right either. No matter what health I set for the func_door or button it wouldn't work. It did work with a func_breakable in front of the door, but then that would be just a one time thing. Must be something wrong with JK2 entities or something, it worked fine when I applied health to func_button in a map I made using EFRadiant. Maybe someone else here has another bright idea.
