DarkAgent Posted May 8, 2002 Share Posted May 8, 2002 Personally I thought the patch was pretty good, but there are a lot of players out there who do not like it much. To those people I say: Why does this have to be the end of the world for you? Why not simply uninstall the patched game and re-install off your original CD (thereby removing the patch from your PC). Then start your own server named "FFA - No Patch" or something. You DO have a choice here. The game WILL still function unpatched, and there seems to be enough of you out there that finding players who want to play with the unpatched version should not be too difficult. DarkAgent Posted May 8, 2002 Author Share Posted May 8, 2002 No - you are right there - bots don't accept private duel requests now or before the patch. The only way to get that "Private Duel" experience with a bot is to start a server with one bot only. I find fighting bots isn't really that much fun anyways.
