My map dpesnt load after patch.

Hey guys i got a dedicated server that i run a few custom maps along with the original... well now that the patch has been applied they get passed over...anyone else have probles with their finished maps not loading?

I don't run servers but I'll bump this thread for ya! We need more servers running custom maps!

you may want to determine the order of which you want the maps cycled in, and then go into your server.cfg (or whatever you named it, and put this line in so your custom maps will be cycled in

 

 

// Maps /// this is the current map cycle running on my server.

seta g_autoMapCycle 0

seta d1 "map duel_jedi ; set nextmap vstr d2"

seta d2 "map duel_pit ; set nextmap vstr d3"

seta d3 "map duel_carbon ; set nextmap vstr d4"

seta d4 "map ffa_yavin ; set nextmap vstr d1"

vstr d1

 

but you use the maps you want in replace of those listed here...

 

P.S. and remove the comment after the ///

By installing your patch it might have overwritten your cfg file.

thats exactly what happened i had to reload my maps into the base....but i also had to redo the cfg and then stop and restart....

its great having your own server to play around and test your stuff on......i get alot of good critiqes...the best one was i needed terrain.....ok time to switch to GTK
