Caster Troy
I want to make a rotating platform. I created a circular func_rotating entity, and it said I "must have an origin brush as part of the entity". How can I specify that a brush is part of an entity? I made an origin brush, and put it in the middle of my platform, where I want the axis to be. When I tried the level, the platform did spin, but it was off-center, and obviously wasn't spinning on the axis of my origin brush. Has anyone played with these yet? -Caster
Manquesa
first of all, you need to make the origin brush before you make the func_rotating entity, ino other words, make the brush you want to rotate, then make the origin brush, placed as close to the center as you can, and then while both are selected make them a func_rotating. As for it rotating off centered, just make sure the origin brush is as close to the center as possible, you may need to decrease the grid size so you can place it more accurately in the middle. Caster Troy
Okay, thanks a lot! I had no idea you could combine more than one brush into one entity... That makes my other ideas feasible!
