sights0d
I don't know what happened! I was loading, but I must have hit save instead and now the .map file is gone! Is there a way to go backwards from my last bsp file?
Cmdr. Antilles
Look for a 'Snapshots' directory under the folder where your .map was... there should be some files labeled "yourmapname.map.0", and .1, .2. etc. Just rename those to 'yourmapname.map', and you should be able to load them up into JK2R just fine. I think it also makes an autosave copy of your map in the 'maps' directory. Look for something called 'autosave_mp.map'... Open that up. Hope you get your map back. This is why you should always save multple copies of your map, not just one that you constantly update.
sights0d
Never mind... I found it. But that SCARED THE HECK OUT OF ME!!! I've been working on this map so hard that my fiance is going to leave me if I don't get done soon. A little bit of advice for other newbies: Save under different file names periodically so that you can go back if you have to. Otherwise you Will CRY!
