MOD idea "Hostile Takeover" Imperial Boarding Party

An idea I have been kicking around for a bit since JKI,

originally I would have liked to linked XWA and JK2 to have cross game campaigns but that has yet to manifest.

 

"Hostile Takeover"

 

Welcome to the life of high piracy, well as close as an Imperial can come. Your transport shuttle has disabled the rebel craft with the help of it's ion cannons and TIE escort. You and your unit of stromtroopers have breached the hull after the docking procedure and step through the smoke and molten durasteel to an eruption of blaster fire from ship security. You quickly drop the initial rebel defence and stare at the well lit hallway ahead.

 

Your mission, lead your band of stormtroopers on routine boarding procedures like capture the bridge, search for contraband, recover stolen Imperial datacards, eliminate the Ambasador, and other services for the Empire.

 

Just looking for feedback at the moment, worth a damn or not?

Colaborations are more than welcome, if another group would like to adopt the idea and let me help storyboard and such, That would be welcome.

I've been thinking about the same thing for awhile and it could be pretty cool.

 

Missions could be based on Rebel Hostage Rescue and Bomb attacks and Imperial VIP Capture and Document Retrieval.

 

Some mission could start with both teams ready and waiting at the main entry point ala Star Wars opening. The doors would blast open and all hell would break loose until one team can bust through and get the upper hand.

 

Balance would be the main issue. It might be interesting if each team had one or two Jedi/Sith that would function as Force support and Medic. The other guys would do the brunt of the fighting with guns. A class system would be interesting.
