Pedantic
How does one go about finding the exact time of an MP game?
Lord Sokar
Well, to my knowledge, they're going on all the time. If you're looking for a specific match on a site, I would assume they may have a website or mailing list that tells when. Search for the name of the site and see what you come up with. Pedantic
Ummm...sorry, I guess I wasn't clear enough. I meant how long it takes to finish an MP game.
Lord Sokar
That's defined by the server admin. There are two variables. One for round length and one for kill limit. The round ends whenever one is reached. Of course, with the new patch, I literally spent a 20 minute round hacking away at two other guys using heavy stance in a room with 1 large shield generator and 3 small ones. It beat anything I've ever seen. We just ran in circles and hacked away for 20 minutes. The round ended and nobody died.
Pedantic
Jeez, I'm sorry. My post needs further clarification. I meant, in a game that ends after a certain amount of kills, how does one go about finding out how long the game took (accurate to the seconds)? [SWS]Strider
Hmm well you could do this /cg_drawtimer 1 That will create a clock that counts down to the ending. If you finish early subtract that time left from the initial. That what you wanted?
