Hey People. Andy867 here again to let the JO community know that once the Duel of The Fates map is released from LivingDeadJedi, he will be finished up 2 other maps, and begin working on a Sith Temple!!! if anyone has seen the fan-made film Duality you know what I am talking about!!! well, I am off to enjoy Duel of the Fates, but look forward to a public release within the next 2weeks!!!! P.S. Unikorn of Wired Lamp Studios is also making the Sith Temple, so its gonna be a nice little competition, but i know like the rest of you, I am very interested to see how BOTH versions turn out!!!

I'm dropping out on the development of that map. I am working on the ctf mappack for Wired Lamp Studios, and I was only planning on working on that map a little when I got tired of ctf mapping. If someone is already working hard on that one I don't think there is need for my version of the same location. I only wanted to build it because you found no one to build it.

What happened Unikorn was Living was wanting an inspiration to build somethign related to the Sith, and I said that you were going to work on the sith Temple of Korriban once you got far along enough on the CTF map, and Living asked for some screenshots of the Sith Temple, and said that he might be able to do, but he hasnt started yet... he is still working on the duel of the fates, the small duel map, and a clan arena, so it'll be a little bit before he even touches the Sith Temple... And it was only recently(yesterday night) when Living said he might give the Sith Temple a go.. (might) he thought he had heard that a friend of his was going to work on something similar to the sith Temple, but living said he might undertake the project, but it depends upon how the clan arena, DOTF and the small duel map do to tiemframe for releasing...

 

 

But about the Duel of the Fates, teh reason for the 2 week delay is that Living is awaiting for a fellow modeler to send him a larger version of the Naboo Fighter, since the one that is all ready out there is too small in size to be proportionate to the map... (which goes to show how big the map is!!!!) plus he is also working on a couple other maps at the same time, and he is adding some new things into the DOTF map that he was afraid might be left out due to issues of lag.. and we do have enough beta testers though(myself included), but its just 2 weeks... the NHL Finals wont even be finished in 2 weeks!!

To be honest, I have exams too until May 25th so Iwon't be playing it anyway. And I'm prefer for it to be as realistic as possible.

 

Just some advice for Linving. It's a great mpa but maybe something could be done with the lightning to give it a bit of a glow. Watch the movie and you will see. Maybe as a nice touch (and I don't know if this is possible) a crate should be put in front of the main door to the platforms and purple things (name I can't remember) so when you force push it, it opens the door. Would be kinda like what Darth Maul did in the film.

 

Just some suggestions.

 

Cannot wait for the map though.
